How We Process Payments
When you order your pain medication, your credit card is pre-authorised for the amount or your purchase. It is not charged. But the amount is locked pending the processing of your order.
The first thing that happens then is that you get an automated email asking you to login to the patient site via EasyRX Patient Site and respond to additional questions from the doctor.
If you ordered using a Hotmail or AOL account, then it is more that likely that our email will be in your spam box. So please check there before contacting us.
You need to follow up on your order in our chat system as quickly as possible otherwise there will be delays.
Our system is very sophisticated in that it permits our doctors to easily contact you if they have any questions concerning your consultation or order. This protects both you and the doctors. So please follow up quickly so the doctor can move ahead with the authorisation of your prescription.
You prescription is then forwarded to the pharmacy who dispense your treatment. If this happens before 3pm then you will get delivery within 24 hours, and when you medicine is delivered we charge your credit card. If your order fails at any point in the process (e.g. doctor declines prescription), then the pre-authorisation is released immediately. At this point the funds are 100% gone from our system. However, your bank is responsible for putting the money back on your card. Some banks release the funds immediately but others can take as much as 5 days. There is nothing we can do to speed up this process for you.
Orders can fail for many reasons. But if you login to you account at any time you can easily see the status of your order.
